1、 Product Introduction of Vehicle Rain Test Laboratory:
The whole vehicle rain test room is mainly used to simulate natural rainfall environments and test the rainproof sealing performance of cars. It is an essential testing equipment for new car production. The rain test room is mainly composed of a building, a sprinkler system, a drying system, and a control system.
1. The structure of the vehicle rain test room is an important device for body sealing testing. It mainly consists of a room, a sprinkler system, a drying system, and a control system.
(1) The main function of the room is to form a closed experimental area and isolate it from the non experimental area. Generally, a composite wall structure is used, with galvanized sheet on the inner layer, color steel sheet on the outer layer, sound insulation material in the middle, and welded steel frame. The side of the room is equipped with glass windows for easy observation of the indoor situation.
(2) The sprinkler system generates simulated artificial rainfall, consisting of water pumps, water filtration devices, return water tanks, return water tanks, suction tanks, pipelines, and nozzles. Spray water is pumped out of the suction tank by a water pump, enters the pipeline through a filter, sprays out from the nozzle, flows into the return water tank, and enters the suction tank for the next cycle through sedimentation and filtration in the return water tank.
(3) To ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle, the drying system blows dry the test water on the surface of the vehicle after completing the rain test. There are two forms of drying: cold air and hot air. The JL7162 Rain Test Laboratory adopts a strong cold air structure, which is based on the principle that when the airflow velocity reaches a considerable level (above 20 m/s), water on the vehicle body forms a mist and separates from the vehicle. The drying system consists of fans, bellows, ducts, etc. The strong wind generated by the fan is filtered and distributed by the bellows into the air duct, evenly blowing on the surface of the test vehicle to separate the water from the vehicle body.
(4) The control system consists of control appliances, flow meters, pressure gauges, etc., which adjust and control the vehicle test time, rain intensity, and injection pressure.
2. The parameters of the rain test laboratory are based on GB/T12480-90 "Test Method for Rainproof Sealing of Passenger Cars". The main design parameters of the rain test laboratory include the rain standard area, rainfall intensity, spray pressure, etc.
3. The design of the rain test room is mainly determined based on the following parameters: size of the rain test area, model of water pump and drying equipment, number and layout of nozzles, water storage tank, etc.
(1) Dimensions of the Rain Testing Laboratory
(2) The selection of water pump rated flow should meet the requirements of maximum rainfall intensity
(3) Number and arrangement of nozzles
(4) The structure and capacity of the water storage tank are designed to save water resources. The test water is generally recycled, and the tank is divided into two or three interconnected tanks with filter screens to complete functions such as return water, filtration, sedimentation, and water absorption.
